Mr. Wonderful
Of the 3 things I am grateful for today, one big one is Mr. Wonderful, my hubby. I am able to honor him in a contest today, so here goes.
Mr. Wonderful and I have 7 children. Our family has the benefit of having very hands on Daddy who cooks, cleans up, does the main grocery shopping every week, takes the time to hang out with the boys watching movies as well as pay attention to the
girls and their interests. Attends their school dances with me, goes to their night time events, takes lots of pictures of the family, all the time. Works a steady job with he enjoys, is easy going, has a great voice, and is very intelligent. What more can you ask of a Mr. Wonderful? He is my Mr. Wonderful and I love him. :)
Real quick:
I am grateful for new friends (I made some last night at a party I attended to benefit my friend Rachel)
I am also grateful for new business connections!! Made a nice one last night that I think will be great for both of us!
Loudly yours,
Alicia

3 things I am grateful for....6/19/12
1. Information
In today's crazy financial market, a leg up on what is really going on is a great thing. Today, I am grateful to have the time to listen to information that will help me and my family keep our finances safe and growing.I got the chance to listen to info from the Elevation Group and I think the information is worth while.
2. Family members
Good family members are worth their weight in gold. Thank God I have a great family. Sometimes they can drive me nutty, but I love them, none the less!! It is a great game of give and take and I am happy to be in the "game" with them. :)
3. Integrity
I sure am grateful for those who take responsibility for their lives and who show up when they say they will and do what they say they are going to do. I sure hope that I always model that to my kids!!

Five Question Friday on a Saturday!
My life has been such a whirlwind lately. I have not had
time for very much lately!! I do have the latest questions from
yesterday, though!
Here they are!
Loudly yours,
Alicia
1. Did you do anything special for your kids on the last day of school? Or did you parents do anything special for you?
No, nothing special. Does breathe a sigh of relief count?
2. What's your favorite summer tradition with your children?
Go to the pool!! Love my pool because it is so woodsy and has a Pocono feel...and its quiet. :)
3. What was your favorite thing to do during the summer as a kid?
Run around with my friends, ride bikes, go hiking in back of my Cousin's immense house, take trips to the shore, the Poconos or trips to Ecuador. Great fun!
4. How old were you when you were married? Were you a Bridezilla?
I was 22. Not really, maybe a little right before the wedding since we were late, but otherwise, no.
5. What is your favorite girl name? (I'm needing suggestions.)
Rachael, Vianne, (veeahn), Gabriella, (Bella), Isabella, Jessica, Elizabeth, Sabrina, Michelle.
Here they are!

Five Question Friday 6/1/12
From Five Crooked Halos
1. What were you scared of as a kid?
As a kid, I was scared of leaving a place and never returning. Not exactly sure why. The most common place I feared never going back to was my cousin's house in S Orange. It was so beautiful. I loved being there at the Mansion. The property was beautiful. I have so many memories there and sometimes, even today, I go and park near it just to look at it and remember.
2. Do you sleep well in a hotel?
Pretty well. It depends on where it is. One of the best places I have slept was The Wolverton Inn in Lambertville, NJ and Embassy Suites in Parsippany, NJ. The beds there were awesome.
3. If you could meet any celebrity, dead or alive, who and why?
I would want to meet Judy Garland or Marilyn Monroe (the dead people) and Jennifer Lopez or Johnny Depp (alive)
Why? First of all, they are all in the entertainment business, something I wish I could be a part of. Most of them are singers, like me and I would love to pick their brain and just get to know them.
4. It's a hot summer day. Do you prefer to be pool side or at the beach?
Pool side. Hate the sand.
5. What is your favorite summer dish?
Cucumber Salad. Just love the taste.
